ROLE DEFINITION?

As a Logistics Services Lab Technician, you will provide high-quality analytical data to release products in support of the objectives and goals of the business.

The role works a straight 8 hour day schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION?

Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:?

  • Analyze samples according to the sample plan
  • Using tools, evaluate validity of data, apply basic statistics, compare to spec limits, and take appropriate action
  • Document, communicate, and archive results
  • Monitor analytical systems, identify problems, and perform first-line troubleshooting
  • Perform basic calibration and maintenance of analytical systems
  • Communicate role related information between shifts, day staff, and business partners
  • Participate in facility management, including, but not limited to: managing materials & supplies, housekeeping, and managing waste in accordance with RCRA guidelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word and Excel)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous analytical laboratory experience and/or technical training in analytical chemistry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, Sample Manager, and OPD
  • Proficiency with math and computer skills required to perform SSRP role in MPQ lab

In addition, successful candidate must meet the following physical qualifications, with or without accommodation:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to work on feet for extended period of time (up to 75% of shift)
  • Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Able to work a reasonable amount of overtime per the contract and/or business needs
