What’s a typical day as a Fiber Optic Technician? You’ll be:

• Responsible for optical connector assembly and termination of various configurations of fiber optic cable assemblies

• Testing and troubleshooting cable assemblies

• Assisting in process development and problem resolution

• Operating fiber router and completing over-molding process

• Collaborating with remote sites and outside vendors

• Balancing workload and meeting schedule pressures

• Providing suggestions for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have completed High School or equivalent

• Preferably have 2 years of experience in a fiber optic manufacturing environment

• Have good time management skills and can work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Pay attention to detail and can follow BOMs, routers, and drawings/prints

• Possess proficient dexterity and motor skills for intricate work
