TEKsystems Electronic Funds Transfer Specialist in Middletown, Pennsylvania

Description:

  • Performs all operational support duties for domestic and international wires system while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management policies and procedures are upheld - Processes all incoming and outgoing wires for member credit unions - Performs all operational support duties for foreign check collections, Positive Pay and Coin & Currency programs - Provides member service and technical support via telephone calls, emails, and secure chat messaging to members and internal personnel, while ensuring regulatory compliance policies and procedures are upheld - Responsible for a variety of routine daily tasks and participates in special department projects - Ensure timely and accurate processing of large volume and high dollar origination files and in conjunction with transmission cutoff times throughout the day - Perform OFAC review and decisioning of payment files - Perform ACH specific functions daily from and to applicable systems within prescribed timeframes, as required. - Balance and reconcile daily ACH transaction activity - Review and process ACH exceptions, NOCs, returns, and stop payments - Process unauthorized ACH disputes according to error resolution procedures - Independently escalate any problems to appropriate parties, opens tickets and conducts follow up as necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education/Experience: - Associate degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred, or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and equivalent level of experience. - Two (2) years of Automated Clearing House (ACH) and wire processing and systems or three (3) to five (5) years of experience in bank or credit union back office operations. - Knowledge and understanding of compliance and legal requirements: NACHA rules, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), OFAC, fraud risk, etc. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills - Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows and applications and utilize search tools to find information - Knowledge and understanding of internet or intranet-based business systems - Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
