Job Description

1. Data Integration and T-SQL Expertise:

o Provide expert guidance on data integration best practices, focusing on T-SQL proficiency.

o Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other applications.

o Participate in the design, development, and maintenance efforts of the data integration team.

2. Effective Communication:

o Demonstrate excellent communication skills, working effectively with customers across varying technical backgrounds.

o Translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical specifications for data integration processes.

3. Database Solutions:

o Design, develop, and maintain efficient, repeatable solutions within a high-volume Microsoft SQL Server analytic data warehouse.

o Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, stored procedures, views, and functions.

o Ensure scalability and appropriate performance for data management and manipulation.

4. Reporting Requirements:

o Collaborate with business and technical teams to define reporting requirements and deadlines.

o Create technical design documentation, detailing proposed database and data integration implementations.

o Support ad hoc analytic reporting needs.

5. Continuous Improvement:

o Investigate and troubleshoot production issues related to data integration.

o Contribute to the establishment of group standards and processes.

o Optimize source code using industry-standard methodologies.

Skills and Requirements

* 3+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience

* 3+ years experience with data warehousing (from disparate sources, e.g., star schema or snowflake schema)

* 3+ years of experience ingesting data from multiple databases or flat files

* 3+ years of JSON experience (parsing on JSON)

* If no bachelor's degree, we need more years experience. * Bachelor's degree
