What You Will Do:

PWACT’s Quality Department is looking for a high energy, self-starter to assume the role as the Inspection Supervisor - Cell Lead in the inspection of airfoils and combustor panels.

The position hours are an offset 1st shift with the hours being Mon - Fri 10:00AM to 7:00PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety of employees by driving a safety-first culture.

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate quality control activities for all three shifts.

  • Assist with developing quality control policies.

  • Providing training to the inspection team as required.

  • Set the proper balance of accuracy / compliance vs. daily business objectives.

  • Communicating daily job assignments.

  • Assuring daily commitments are communicated to the inspection team and components are inspected in a timely manner to meet daily schedules.

  • Manage departmental vacations, overtime, payroll, performance reviews and any disciplinary activities.

  • Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost.

  • Collaborate with the manufacturing, and process engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with cross-functional teams

  • Inspection and/or quality assurance/compliance experience

  • Troubleshooting/problem-solving ability

  • Leadership by example.

  • The ability to adapt and drive change

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in successful project execution

  • Supervisory leadership in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Teamwork-based decision making

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
