Job Title: Training Supervisor

Job Description

Currently seeking a 2nd shift training supervisor for Middletown, CT. The main responsibilities include ensuring all associates are properly trained in the warehouse. This involves proper utilization of time management, loading, receiving, unloading, proper documentation control, training documentation control, and over-communicating with managers on the progress of new hires and existing employees. The candidate will learn the job and then ensure new hires are taught properly.

Hard Skills

  • 1 year of material handling

  • 1 year of kitting/packing/labeling/boxing

  • Forklift operation (a plus)

  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs

  • Packaging experience

  • 2 years of prior lead/supervisor experience

Soft Skills

  • Ability to build a strong team

  • Effective communication with managers

  • Over-communicating progress

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 1 Year(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Middletown, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Aerospace Manufacturing environment in Middletown, CT. Very clean work environment with a relaxed atmosphere as long as people do their jobs. No Supervisor yelling or constantly pushing the candidate. Team size is 20. Dress code includes jeans, steel toes, no profanity shirts, and casual attire without holes in jeans.
