Description

We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. Working in the construction industry, this role will focus on managing payroll for union employees across different projects and equipment types. This is a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle sensitive financial information, process wage garnishments, and manage timesheets for different organizations and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll process for union employees working on various projects.

• Ensure accurate entry of different rates based on project and equipment used into the system.

• Carry out monthly union reporting.

• Manage timesheets for different organizations based on the project, ensuring correct coding every day.

• Process wage garnishments as required.

• Oversee payroll for two organizations, ensuring accurate job numbers and project details.

• Ensure accurate tracking and processing of PTO and holiday pay.

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports for payroll processing.

• Carry out accounting functions and auditing as needed.

• Manage benefit functions including 401k - RRSP Administration.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian

• Ability to utilize Crystal Reports

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions

• Knowledge and experience in Auditing

• Ability to handle Benefit Functions
