Job Title: 1st Shift Inventory/Stock Clerk

Location: Middletown, CT

Pay: $18-$22 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm / 8am-4:30pm

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory/Stock Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and be highly proficient with computer systems, including inventory management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accuracy.

  • Perform daily stock counts, inventory audits, and cycle counts as needed.

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and quality control.

  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and company requirements.

  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Use inventory management software and other computer systems to track stock levels and orders.

  • Assist with resolving any inventory discrepancies or issues that arise.

  • Follow all safety and company guidelines during work processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inventory control and shipping/receiving (1+ years preferred).

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Ability to lift and move stock and packages (weight limits may vary based on company policy).

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required.

Pay:

  • Competitive hourly pay ($18-$22 per hour, based on experience).

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
