We have an exciting hybrid work opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join and support our Cold Section Module Center organization at our Middletown, Connecticut location.

What You Will Do:

The Cold Section Module Center (CSMC) senior analyst is responsible for providing a broad range of financial support to the CSMC organization. This position in Operations Finance puts you close to the product, understanding how Pratt & Whitney manufactures product within our world class factories. The position offers great exposure to our factory environment and everything that goes along with delivering some of the most advanced aerospace parts in the industry. The position offers exposure to senior shop leadership while also allowing you to interact with numerous organizations across Pratt & Whitney; Finance, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Programs, Planning, as well as the factory and cell floor leads within Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support and daily reporting to the General Manager and management team to support overall financial & operating results

  • Manage and track shop performance/support profit assurance against forecasted key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide weekly status updates to Operations Leadership team

  • Assist in monthly close activities and in the preparation and submission of monthly forecasts by working closely with the operating business unit managers

  • Act as a business leader for CSMC Operations in providing financial and strategic guidance on efforts related to shop volume, manpower planning, labor metrics, operating expenses, cost per hour, inventory accrual burndown and part cost

  • Assist in preparing the long range plan, including shop load, factory over head, scrap, aged inventory and headcount requirements

  • Proactively develop risks and opportunities and timely communicate to plant and group management

  • Provide financial support and analysis on CSMC cost reduction projects and ad-hoc initiatives

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting or operations; OR advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or operations

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools/data that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
