Summary This position is located within the VHA Office of Finance's Consolidated Patient Account Center (CPAC), organizationally under the Director, with the incumbent serving as the Quality Assurance Manager and the Privacy Officer for the CPAC. The CPAC is a regionally consolidated business entity established to enhance revenue operations throughout the VISN networks and across the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) system through the standardization/consolidation of functions and processes. Responsibilities The Quality Assurance Manager is the expert authority on CPAC Quality Assurance as it relates to revenue processes. Provide advise and recommendations necessary to identify opportunities and process improvement. Ensure a consistent, CPAC wide monitoring process to improve the quality of business practices. Assist in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of a CPAC wide performance management program. Provides assistance throughout the CPAC on a wide variety of functional, technical, administrative, and management processes. Verify operational processes are effective, efficient and compliant with federal regulations. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED): To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a PhD. or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related? Note: Evidence of specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held on your resume.
