WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING The Fleet and Service Manager oversees the maintenance and repair operations of our company\'s fleet and construction equipment. You will report to the President/COO and collaborate frequently with the operations, logistics, and procurement teams. Key duties include supervising shop personnel, managing workflows, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining high internal customer service levels. Responsibilities include: Manage Shop Operations: Direct all activities related to shop workflow and processes, coordinating repairs and maintenance with mechanics, and generating purchase orders as needed. Supervise Staff: Assign work based on repair needs, manage workflow, monitor work volume, and ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely completion of tasks. Troubleshoot and Repair: Assist mechanics with equipment problem diagnosis and repairs. Inventory Management: Oversee parts and supply inventory, research vendors for cost-effective, high-quality parts, and maintain vendor relationships.
