Veterinary Technician--surgical (Part-Time)

Homeward Bound, Addison Countys Humane Society, seeks a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team. This is a vital role that assists with pre-, peri-, and post-operative care of patients. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital or animal shelter is preferred; however, training is available to the right candidate who is comfortable around animals and is willing to learn and adhere to the principles of shelter medicine. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, time management, ability to follow directions, and concern for animal welfare and the ethical treatment of animals. This is a rewarding job among a team of skilled professionals who make a real difference in the lives of animals and our community. Position is part-time (16-hours per week).
