POSITION SUMMARY: The Interactive Technology Engineer is a specialized technical role that requires the knowledge and expertise to read, interpret, and process complex technical troubleshooting information, and varying types of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for conversion and enhancement for improved understanding and operational use in visually interactive software systems. The Interactive Technology Engineer will break down electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for recreation as simple systems that give users an understanding how specific circuits work within the equipment. This role will research, develop, and test enhanced interactive software for optimal usability and function that will be utilized by field personnel in a physical or virtual maintenance setting. Research and develop equipment theory to aid users in understanding how the equipment functions. Research and development of interactive models and media components to support web, desktop client or AR/MR/VR based applications to be used with interactive content and visually enhanced software. Write and develop legible theory, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures as per DoD or customer specifications for field operator/maintainer use. Keep detailed logs for reporting to management on project goals, accomplishments, and status. Give detailed explanation of company products to DoD or commercial officials for verification that the product is within specifications. This role communicates status and technical project updates to management personnel. The Interactive Technology Engineer helps support the development and execution of the team delivery schedule by providing technical and business context and helping establish accurate estimates and timelines for milestone deliverables. Coaches, develops, mentors, and trains people supporting product or solution development to ensure their success. This role is responsible to ensure project deadlines are met, projects are completed within budget, and quality standards are achieved. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must have skill and knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics as well as the necessary understanding in the concepts of how electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems function. Must have a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, ArbortextXML Editor, C# programming, JavaScript, Unity, and Microsoft Office applications. Executes assigned assignments to ensure projects are completed within established timeline, budgeted hours, and company and customer guidelines Establishes and maintains a good relationship with the customer and acts as technical subject matter expert during the total life of the project Develops strong presentations to convey business value, set expectations, and promote additional interactive solutions to prospective customers and existing clients Provides and/or identifies sales opportunities for increased sales with customer or strategic accounts assigned Follows up on new leads and referrals for services; identifies sales prospects and passes that information to the appropriate Sales/Business Development team member Evaluates customers' needs and builds productive long-lasting relationships Develops estimates for approved software or services and routes to appropriate salesbusiness manager Helps support sales presentations, proposals, and sales contracts Acts as a liaison between internal personnel and customer's representatives Manages services performed through quality checks and other follow-up measures to ensure customer satisfaction Identifies and resolves client concerns; escalates to appropriate personnel when necessary Prepares status reports for new and existing client business
