The Law, Policy and Integrity Department at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Senior Analyst Legal Administration and Executive Assistant to join our team!

This position operates like the General Counsel’s (GC) right hand, working closely with the GC and the members of the Law, Policy and Integrity function to drive operational rigor and efficiency in support of departmental business planning and related matters.  The incumbent will have a balance of administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will partner closely with SVP, Global Technology & Infrastructure Counsel, who manages the legal operations function, and others in the legal department to drive the business planning processes, develop compelling presentations and track project execution; in addition, will work with other departments such as Finance and HR on department budget management, including analysis of outside counsel and other spend. The position reports to the EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Provide administrative support and assist the General Counsel in the administrative management of the department.

• Business planning – partner with General Counsel to understand and to help document and track execution against strategy and goals for the department. Partner with finance business partner to understand budget management and budget cycle processes.

• Coordinates budget end-to-end for function and ensures delivery.

• Assumes day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks (Department strategy document; quarterly and annual business reviews).

• Maps and updates departmental calendar of key dates, key events, and milestones, across all specialty areas and disciplines in LP&I (eg, the political election cycle in DC or key states, important legal conferences, leadership training dates, Board and committee meetings, key media/trade conferences, etc.)

• Maintain GC’s frequently changing calendar and coordinate all logistics for meetings (live or video-based), receptions, conferences, and others.

• Coordinate global/domestic travel itineraries and manage timely processing of expenses

• Respond to routine requests for information from external and internal sources.

• Process invoices, organize and maintain filing system and orders office supplies

• Prepare presentations re legal department or legal substantive issues for executive management or legal leadership.

• Coordinate quarterly all hands and Weekly Staff Meetings and logistics. Assist with training and professional development scheduling, other key departmental meetings e.g. offsite meetings.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

• Demonstrated self-starter. Proactive, able to work independently, with effectiveness prioritizing and balancing sensitive tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to the shifting demands of different situations.

• Demonstrated confidence and diplomacy to challenge and address tough issues directly and constructively.

• Experienced at project management principles.

• Experience serving in planning role either in internal corporate legal department or law firm department.

• Accustomed to and experienced in business planning processes.

• Tech savvy for efficient group work production

• Highly skilled at power point, excel and google applications (such as google docs)

• Strong at storytelling – able to distill multiple inputs of information to thread together a story, presented in a coherent, succinct, visually compelling manner (typically ppt)
