ManTech Knowledge Management Lead in Miami, Florida

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Knowledge Management Lead to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Miami, FL area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures the delivery of continuous value by the Knowledge Management (KM) team to customers and TDL staff.

  • Responsible for setting expectations for the Knowledge Management Plan within TDL projects, monitoring and measuring KM performance, identifying areas for improvement in the Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) or knowledge bases, and ensuring continuous improvement in managing strategic knowledge.

  • Provide guidance on waivers or exceptions to KM Plans, resolves conflicts between KM reference material and new requirements for KM training, and collaborates with various departments to develop and enhance Knowledge Management processes.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices while demonstrating strong communication and leadership abilities.

  • Supervise and mentor the junior staff members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in developing policies, procedures, and governances for Document Management Control, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Online Library Management, or related experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Library and Information Science, or 4 years of related experience may be substituted for the degree.

  • A relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit or a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration or related Business, Library Science, or Information Science disciplines.

  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as KM Institute, Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM); Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Certified Records Manager.

Clearance Requirements:

  • This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
