So you want to make part of a very fast-growing company in South Florida? Do you have the skills and dedication to be a great Helicopter Maintenance Technician? We are looking for a dedicated individual responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. This role requires a detailed-oriented individual with expertise in helicopter mechanics and a thorough understanding of aviation safety protocols. The technician will work as part of a team to ensure that Blackhawk helicopters are in optimal condition and meet all operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair:

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on Blackhawk helicopters, including inspections, servicing, and troubleshooting.

• Repair or replace defective components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, and other critical parts.

• Conduct functional tests on repaired systems to ensure proper operation.

Refurbishment:

• Overhaul and refurbish helicopter parts and systems to extend the service life of the aircraft.

• Sand, prime, and paint aircraft surfaces as required.

• Restore interior components including seats, panels, and instrumentation.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all maintenance and repairs are performed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

• Prepare reports on completed work and any issues encountered.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in aviation maintenance technology or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in helicopter maintenance, with specific experience on Blackhawk helicopters preferred.

• Proficient in the use of aviation maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Great communication and teamwork skills.

• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
