About the Role:

The Fundraising and Investor Relations (IR) Professional will be responsible for leading and executing Arrowroot’s fundraising initiatives. This person will be responsible for generating new investor leads alongside the firm’s placement agent, with a particular focus on the family office segment. They will also maintain and nurture both existing and new Arrowroot Capital investor relationships alongside the firm’s Founder.  In addition to leading fundraising, this individual will lead the refinement of the current Investor Relations function. 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the overall strategy and execution of fundraising activities.

  • Leverage existing contacts (private wealth LP’s and Family Offices) to lead fundraising efforts for Arrowroot.

  • Build, maintain and lead direct relationships with new and existing institutional investors.

  • Provide Arrowroot with a detailed level of insight into investor programs, process and preferences.

  • Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group’s CRM and fundraising market intelligence.

  • Manage the internal work processes to ensure execution is efficient and processes delivered within tight deadlines (e.g. quarterly performance, AGM materials, material preparation to address investor questions).

  • Assist with the preparation of data room materials for the Arrowroot funds that come to market.

  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and in public speaking engagements as appropriate.

  • Assist with the continuing professional development of junior members of the deal teams.

Candidate Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Fundraising/Capital Formation experience; a focus on Buyout or Growth Equity in a TMT/tech/enterprise software environment is strongly preferred.

  • Have an active and robust rolodex of family offices and private wealth LPs that invest in growth equity funds and deals.

  • Thorough understanding of fund and transaction structures and experience of preparing financial materials relevant to private equity.

  • Ability to conduct credible and detailed discussions with strategic partners about their investments and deals.

  • An undergraduate degree; Finance, Business or Mathematics is preferred.

  • A results-orientated approach to working; strategic thinker, able to perform in a high pressure environment.

  • Manage a variety of projects simultaneously while managing relationships across time zones and/or cultures.

  • Willing to travel as needed.

  • Exceptional wealth managers with demonstrable ability to raise capital will be accepted.
