Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the bustling city of Miami, Florida. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of our internal financial reporting and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This role is set in a dynamic workplace where you will be collaborating with various departments for analysis, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all general ledger accounting operations with precision and attention to detail.

• Contribute to financial statement consolidations and ensure they align with industry standards.

• Ensure strict adherence to GAAP compliance reporting to maintain transparency and accuracy in our financial activities.

• Manage all internal financial reporting systems and procedures, ensuring they are streamlined and efficient.

• Provide support through detailed analysis of key accounting tasks to aid decision-making processes.

• Generate ad-hoc reporting as needed to provide comprehensive insights.

• Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and statements of comprehensive income.

• Conduct cash flow analysis to track the inflow and outflow of cash within the organization.

• Implement new software for streamlining processes and adopting best practices, boosting overall productivity.

• Proactively work with other departments for analysis, planning, and reporting, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements • Proficiency with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with BlackLine software

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge in Auditing practices

• Ability to generate and analyze Financial Reporting

• Experience with Financial Consolidation and Eliminations

• Understanding of Intercompany transactions

• Skills in Data segmentation

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software

• Proficiency with Power BI and Oracle software

• Ability to manage, lead and supervise a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

• Proven track record of managing multiple financial and accounting projects simultaneously

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
