Senior Software Engineer

Location: Home-based, Mexico

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to enhance our Digital Experience Engineering Portals Team. This role offers a unique chance to engage with state-of-the-art cloud platforms within Microsoft Azure , collaborate with a talented team of UX and UI designers , and utilize the latest UI technologies. You will be instrumental in crafting robust, and reusable React components and backend APIs for our dynamic Portals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intuitive front-end webpages and reliable backend services.

• Work closely with UX and UI designers to ensure seamless integration and user-centric design.

• Engage in an agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) software development process.

• Commit to writing testable, maintainable, and scalable code, while actively participating in peer reviews.

• Lead key products and features from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering from a reputable institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience outside of internships.

• Solid grasp of core Computer Science concepts including Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in C#, JavaScript, and Typescript.

• Familiarity with Git or similar distributed version control systems.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile Development methodologies like SCRUM.

• In-depth understanding of HTTP and web service integration.

Essential Skills:

• Over 3 years of experience in the architecture and design of new and existing web systems.

• Expertise in C#, JavaScript, and Typescript.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, and Selenium.

• Experience with frameworks or libraries like React, AngularJS, .NET Framework (including .NET Core), TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Webpack, Babel, Gulp.

• Practical knowledge of cloud services and REST Interfaces.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with tools such as VS Studio, VS Code, Chrome Dev tools, Postman, and Fiddler.
