We are looking for a great team player to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Banana Boat, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic… just to name a few!).

Reporting to our Business Intelligence Director this position is an exciting opportunity to join the IT team at Edgewell Personal Care. Edgewell is looking for a senior data engineer to be part of the BI team that is responsible for the technical deployment and leadership of our Snowflake/Azure platforms for our customers. This person must be a self-starter and used to a fast-paced, fun, energetic environment and comfortable with dealing with ambiguity.

This person will have a broad range of skills and experience ranging from AI, machine learning, data architecture to ETL, security, performance analysis, analytics, etc. He/she will have the insight to make the connection between a customer's specific business problem and a Snowflake/Azure solution.

Some other responibilities include:

Direct data pipeline architecture, set standards, and conduct code reviews, create and maintain user stories and tasks within our agile framework, monitor and review teammates estimates and burndown, and adherence to agile framework, work with business and project teams to gather requirements, establish timelines, and manage project milestones, review workload across the team and set priorities according to project deliverables and set and manage quarterly goals for team and platform.

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?

Ideally you will have similar experience gained within a consumer goods/retail company.

• 5 or more years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• 5 or moreyears using build ETL pipeline

• Solid Experience working with AI/ML platforms.

• 5 years of experience in: SAP BW architecture, Snowflake, Azure DevOps, Agile metholodolgy.

• 3 years of experience with multiple programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and Scala.

• At least 2 years working with Snowflake (this is a must!)

• Created and maintained optimal data pipeline architectures.

• Built analytical tools that utilize data pipelines that provided actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.

• Worked with the business community to ensure that the suite of offered data models and reports satisfy expectations for data latency, performance, and ease of use.

• Designed and implemented effective practices for the data team including SDLC, data integration, and change control.

• Created data tools for analytics and data scientist team members.

• Experience improving data governance and data security practices

• Experience with implementing CI/CD.

• Ability to work with business and functional teams.

• Ability to work as a strong team player.

-Candidate requires an ability to work with business, functional & technical teams.

-Virtual meetings may be required to facilitate working with resources globally.

-Travel (approximately 10%)
