Amazon Program Manager, International Fulfillment in Mexico City, Mexico

Description

If so, the Fulfillment Experience Organization is looking for an Operations Manager responsible for the end-to-end deployment, implementation and launch of the tactical processes that enable our customer access to Global products.

Candidates for this role must be capable of diving deep into data to streamline processes involved in import and export to delight our customers. This role will work closely with broker, couriers, transportation and other logistic supplier teams to ensure the product import to our clients and compliance for global reverse logistics.

Key job responsibilities

  • Ability to make correct decisions at critical times and whilst under pressure.

  • Onboard new logistic service providers based on yearly volume growth

  • Ensure the custom, import, and export compliance for Global Packages by following company policies and country regulations.

  • Ability to communicate expectations and drive performance of external providers.

  • Capacity to perform complex data analysis and write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals

  • Innovative with opportunity identification and influence different workstreams to implement improvements

  • Ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple complexities, including regulation changes, business changes to improve customer experience, import/export industry growth

Candidates should exhibit the following trait:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in complex and changing import/export environment

  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems

  • Ability to drive successful internal and external partnership in a highly specialized and regulated industry sector.

  • Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Spanish and English Fluent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
