We are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Automation Developer to support our North American and South American locations in automating financial processes using the Redwood Finance Automation tool. This role involves building expertise in both in-house and third-party finance automation solutions to meet the requirements of various Siemens Operating Companies and GBS Customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Designers to launch and implement automation and digitalization solutions.

• Understand user requirements and process designs.

• Establish automation processes by considering dynamic scenarios.

• Primarily use low-code development.

• Learn and apply the Redwood Expression Language (REL)

• Transform and enhance data with Redwood’s Data Transformer (similar to Power Query)

• Configure workflows, such as E-mail notification alerts, based on distribution lists.

• Support test planning by:

• Preparing test scripts to ensure all features are functional and error-free.

• Reporting system bugs and suggesting mitigation strategies.

• Communicating with project teams.

• Create process and end-user documentation.

• Maintain high quality of automation through QA processes.

• Analyze issues and provide solutions within Level 1 support, escalating unresolved problems as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Understanding of Accounting and Financial Processes:

• Proficient in processes such as: closing financial periods, creating and posting journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.

• SAP Experience:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP transactions and programs.

• Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools:

• Skilled in using PowerBI or Excel's Power Query for data transformation.

• Excellent English Proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• VBA (Visual Basic for Applications):

o Familiarity with VBA for automating tasks in Excel and enhancing data processing capabilities.
