Amazon Marketplace is seeking a Senior Sales Leader to define the strategy and execute tactical plans to growth the Strategic Account Services in MX. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for developing a team of Account Managers that build the success of our Selling Partners by providing business insights, training, support and seller education. The Sales Leader will identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of existing strategic accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and growing sales teams, consistently delivering multi-million dollar quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

You are a strong leader who can influence procurement leaders, prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly and understand how to deliver excellent results within a strong and talented team, as well as, being able to drive change across other organizations. The role requires innovative thinking and a strong customer and quality focus.

Key job responsibilities

· Lead a sales team to Deliver Results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while always placing the customer first

· Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with the features and functionalities.

· Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings

· Develop regional territory plans and report on them quarterly

· Lead and inspire a growing organization comprised of customer advisors on customer acquisition and growth

· influencing the growth of the domestic business and the product roadmap

· Understand and mechanize the inputs and outputs of the business

· Implement mechanisms to identify, qualify, acquire and grow Seller commitment to the Selling on Amazon program through feature and services adoption

· Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory.

· Managing key strategic Sellers for MX Marketplace

· Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to test, measure, and execute tactical sales

· Partner with Category and Product Management teams to drive product improvement ideas

· Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.

· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.

· Present results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives

· Close complex deals and help reps negotiate large deals

· Own the P&L of the program

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS and 10+ years of work experience required.

+5 years of experiencing managing teams

  • Excellent communication skills (English and Spanish)

  • A strong background in product or account management with related business experience.

  • Experience in complex and dynamic environment including e-commerce, technology, retail and/or management consulting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Business degree

  • Analytical skills; ability and appetite to get deep into the data when required

  • Passionate people manager and leader of leaders: experience in leading larger commercial teams and managing change

  • Sense of ownership and ability to influence various stakeholders

  • Ability to interact with and influence senior leaders

  • Ability to think strategically while delivering detailed execution
