Diageo Data & Intelligence Manager (Temporary) in Mexico City, Mexico

We all know the power of Data, and we are looking for a brilliant Sr. Data & Analytics Manager to help Diageo build responsibly its Data capability and use the power of information to drive growth. You will build this capability across the company, collaborating with the Head of Digital Growth, and working with all digital teams across the company to ensure we have the accurate structure, capability and resources to put data to work making a competitive advantage out of it and driving growth.

Your mission will be to assess, structure, coordinate and integrate all data and business intelligence sources to provide the total business with ideas and insights to sell more and connect better with consumers. Under this mission, you will mix your technical expertise with your leadership to navigate this journey making the company, and specially Marketing, Trade and Sales areas become more data driven.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor diverse data and analytics teams, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Develop and implement data and analytics strategies that drive measurable growth.

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data architectures and systems.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and solutions.

  • Drive the adoption of data standard methodologies and ensure data quality and governance.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and partners to inform decision-making.

  • Handle and optimize audience segmentation strategies to enhance targeting and personalization efforts.

  • Leverage consumer insights and data to develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior, preferences, and trends.

  • Ensure effective utilization of CDP platforms (Treasure Data), CRM systems (SFMC), Power BI, Tableau, and database technologies (BQ, SQL Server).

  • Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.

  • Stay ahead of with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and technology to continuously improve the organization’s capabilities.

  • Audience management and new proximity models to enhance brand campaigns efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor and analyze sufficiency and return on investment models in sales volume to facilitate better investment planning for the company.

  • Establish and implement data governance policies, acting as the primary owner to ensure compliance and proper data management.

You have a consistent track record developing the data & analytics capability of a CPG company or similar, while driving business growth by crafting and deploying inquisitive ways of using data. You have the right combination of technical expertise and leadership skills that have helped you navigate, influence and drive growth in similar environments to Diageo.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering data & analytics solutions and driving measurable growth

  • 8+ years of experience working at, Digital Analytics and Data Architecture, Digital Performance and Capability building, with at least 3 years working with/for CPG companies or similar.

  • Confirmed leadership experience handling and mentoring diverse data and analytics teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong presentation and collaboration skills

  • Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies i.e. agile

  • Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills

  • CDP Platforms (Treasure Data), CRM (SFMC) - Power BI, Tableau and Database Technology – BQ, SQL Serve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree / MBA / Data, Business Intelligence or Analytics Graduate Programs

  • Experience opening / starting the data, business intelligence & analytics capability in CPG or similar companies
