Amazon is looking for an innovative leadership "Associate Recruiter" with a passion for customer service to join our talent acquisition organization. We are looking for a talented recruiter who can thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment. The person in this role must be able to work independently, take a hands-on approach, and interface effectively with professionals at all levels. You will drive the effort to find and attract talent for our business, collaborating with Recruiting Business Partners, Sourcing Recruiters, business leaders and HR. You’ll also take on a lead/support role in various projects that impact the recruiting team’s efficiency and strategies, strengthening our ability to hire quality, diverse talent.

The recruiter will be responsible for delivering critical hiring demand from the business to support Amazon’s growth plans.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support execution of recruiting plans to meet hiring requirements.

  • Manage all aspects of candidate administration such as maintaining and updating applicant, scheduling activity, sharing job description, ensuring current positions are accurately posted in all recruiting systems and job boards.

  • Build and maintain an active pool of candidates to meet future hiring targets in an effective manner.

  • Shadow recruiters in the regular follow-up meetings with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

  • Responsible for planning and coordinating of events, assessment and interviews for hiring candidates.

  • Review applications to evaluate if they meet the requirements of position.

  • Provide advice and assistance to all levels of personnel on various recruiting/talent acquisition related matters.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Human resources knowledge

  • Experience working Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Business Level Spanish

  • This role is expected to be based in Mexico City under an hybrid work model that requires office attendance 3 times a week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruiting/Sourcing experience, working with High Volume Hiring and in high hiring-bar environment.

  • Experienced in tracking the status of high-volume candidates.

  • Experienced in planning recruitment activities.
