Google Accounting Analyst, Payroll and Expenses (English, Spanish) in Mexico City, Mexico

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in accounting, finance or a related function.
Experience in accounting within the local/business industrial industry.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SAP ERP systems.
Experience in support different compensation and benefit plans.
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex initiatives.
Strong technical accounting, problem-solving, project management, and process improvement skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in both independently and in a team environment.

Manage monthly close activities and present month-end results to management.
Establish scalable processes to support different compensation and benefit plans and identify opportunities to centralize, eliminate, and automate activities.
Review processes and implement controls to ensure we are mitigating risk for Google.
Manage, establish, implement global processes for the accounting of new initiatives, ensuring SOX compliance and operational excellence.
Prepare for, and assist with internal, SOX and external audits. Document processes, ensure performance of key controls, and obtain/provide support as necessary.
