Amazon Account Manager Intern in Mexico City, Mexico

As an Account Manager Intern you will join one of our business intelligence, retail, or seller services teams. The role provides an opportunity to understand Amazon business and processes, enhance analytical skills, and make significant business impact.

As an intern, you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. In addition to working on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship. We give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.

Interns at Amazon Mexico work 6hs a day (30hs/week) for 12 months (between January 2025 and January 2026). Amazon adopts a hybrid work model and all employees, including interns, are required to work from the office 3x per week. Participants will join Amazon as Interns at our CDMX Mexico Office.

Key job responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and call important leads

  • Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value that can be delivered and report on a set of business development targets

  • Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence

  • Use feedback to identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools

  • Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects, including working with category teams, product teams, and technical support teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business administration or similar field with a graduation conferral date between December 2023 and December 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in MS Office programs as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Analytical skills

  • Planning, prioritization and time-management skills

  • Ability to communicate efficiently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, consulting, negotiation or supply chain is a plus

  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML is a plus
