The Manager APS Data Operations will join the MABI Center Data Operations team to support the Patient Services Data Operations function. Their primary responsibility is to oversee the entire data lifecycle, including acquisition, integration, delivery, and utilization processes. This involves designing and implementing strategies for acquiring patient data, establishing data quality standards, applying data governance principles, and ensuring accurate data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation. The Manager will also be responsible for delivering consistent data to stakeholders, analyzing patient data for insights, and collaborating with patient services teams. Additionally, they will work closely with IT teams, stay updated on data management technologies, and ensure optimal data operations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the use of patient data, directly impacting patient support and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategies for acquiring patient data from diverse sources, including enrollment, engagement, access and reimbursement, and patient support programs.

  • Define business rules and data quality standards for patient services data integration as a data steward for multiple data domains, collaborating with IT teams.

  • Monitor and manage data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient ingestion, cleansing, and transformation of data.

  • Oversee the integration of patient data from multiple enrollment, engagement, and access management systems into the central data platform.

  • Deliver consistent and trustworthy patient data to internal stakeholders across patient services functions, including patient access programs, treatment adherence programs, field operations, and regulatory reporting.

  • Create and enforce data governance policies and procedures, as well as data quality measures.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and translate them into actionable data delivery formats and reports.

  • Analyze patient data to identify trends and insights that support the management of patient support programs, improve resource allocation, and enhance patient experience.

  • Engage with data providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs), resolving any issues that arise.

  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for patient services programs based on comprehensive data analysis.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and manage secure and efficient data acquisition and reporting pipelines specifically tailored for patient services.

  • Stay abreast of the latest data management technologies and trends, providing recommendations for enhancing data quality and accessibility.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA and CCPA.

  • Foster effective collaboration with data owners, business system owners, platform owners, data operations teams, and other key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Effectively communicate challenges related to patient services data operations to relevant stakeholders.

Can hire a candidate at Grade 18 or 19. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of professional experience.

  • 3+ years of related industry experience with real world data, data operations and/or BI.

  • Ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications.

  • Deep understanding of patient data sources and patient services data needs within pharma.

  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Leadership experience and proven ability to drive improvements in patient services through data utilization.

  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA).

Preferred:

  • Experience with data management tools and platforms (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools).

  • Experience with healthcare data systems and platforms.

  • Experience with managing Patient services programs

  • Project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
