Job Title: Corporate Controller (In-office role in Methuen, MA)

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

As a member of the management team, the Corporate Controller has a broad range of accounting and financial responsibilities. These include the direct supervision of day-to-day accounting and financial processes including preparing period financial reports, supervising Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and producing budgets and financial analysis and reports. The ideal candidate for this role must have a proven ability to lead a team and to drive change. Collaborating frequently with the CFO, as well as the operations team and the Leadership Team, your role in owning all accounting initiatives will be critical to driving our mission forward.

Primary responsibilities:

· Direct and supervise the Accounting Team, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations

· Responsible for the timely preparation and interpretation of all financial information, including financial statements and other reports as required

· Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances

· Perform analytical reviews of the monthly operating results to ensure the accuracy of reports and timely recommendations for improvements and cost controls

· Direct the transactional processing of financial processes

· Assist in the preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts · Coordinate the preparation of annual financial reports and tax returns with outside CPA firm

· Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls

· Other responsibilities and special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· CPA preferred but not required

· Strong financial acumen including prior experience as a Director of Accounting or controller

· Experience with multiple location, multiple entities preferred

· Demonstrates leadership experience and proven ability to think strategically, build relationships, communicate effectively, drive results, inspire creativity and innovation and champion change

· 7 to 10+ years of progressive accounting and supervisory experience, including 3 to 5 years as Controller

· Excellent financial reporting, technical skills

· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment

· Knowledge of Sage Intacct is preferred

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $160,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year + Phone Allowance + Bonus
