Position Summary:

The Assembly Technician position is responsible for routine and repetitive assembly of filters using a variety of fixtures and techniques. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy.

· Starting Rate of Pay $18.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour 2nd Shift Premium

Essential Functions:

· Follow directions and standard work practices to assemble housing units for filter components.

· Responsible for accurate product count matching customers’ needs.

· Prepare products for shipping by packing and labeling product based on customers’ requirements.

· Ensure Parker Hannifin’s quality standards are being upheld by using different quality assurance. equipment including handheld and mounted devices.

· Use a variety of power and hand tools to tighten, lubricate, torque and fixate components of housing unit.

· Prepares necessary paperwork and reports.

· Work area must be clean and clear at all times.

· Capable of pulling components for routers.

· Ability to read a print.

· Ability to navigate on computer i.e. 3270, Enovia.

· Ability to perform basic electrical wiring i.e. filter cart.

· Must be able to perform and lifting requirements in all areas of assembly.

· Perform these and other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

· Manufacturing or related experience preferred.

· Knowledge of diagrams to ensure proper specifications are being met.

· High School diploma or equivalence.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

· Ability to work overtime as needed including Saturdays
