About the job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager role to join the Sales & Marketing team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.

Your main duties will include:

  • Educate customers/accounts on the product and services at the Hotel

  • Build rapport with key accounts

  • Complete assigned sales call on a daily basis

  • Conduct site inspections when needed

  • Conduct regular competitor’s surveys on events being held at competitor hotels and follow-up with introductory letter

  • When required attend/schedule lunch entertainment for Key accounts

  • Chair a sales briefing once a week pertaining to the corporate business environment in the markets

  • Schedule call to be made one week in advance and share this information in the daily sales briefings

  • To develop a practice of weekly sales call plan in order to help better planning in terms of time management, sales objectives and who we want to see

  • Organize business entertainment to include: luncheons, dinners, cocktails to know the client and give them confidence in the Hotel Management team, introduce the General Manager whenever possible and the DOSM

  • Track and share information regarding new business trends

  • Understand factors that affect the market, inform management accordingly and come with the solution

  • Keep track of the competitors regarding special promotions and rate packages.

  • Communicate effectively to ensure that the sales function is carried out smoothly and commitments are met

  • Build up good rapport with the other hotel departments

  • Any other task requested by the management

Qualifications:

About you:

  • With excellent communication, interpersonal relationship skills and good time management skills.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Strong and outgoing personality and good negotiation skills.

  • Experience with Data analysis and interpretation.

  • Strong relationship within the corporate segment in Kuwait.
