Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in Mesquite, Texas. This role is pivotal in our finance department, primarily focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, data entry, and account reconciliation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and accounting software, as well as a proven track record in the field of accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other accounting software for data entry and invoice processing

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Apply coding to invoices as needed

• Collaborate with team leads to streamline accounts payable processes

• Use your experience to contribute to team efficiency and performance

• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve our accounts payable processes.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Demonstrated experience with Coding Invoices is required.

• Strong Data Entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

• Professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
