RSC Shift Supervisor Level: Hourly Division / Department: Retail Logistics Reports to: General Manager Reporting to position: Director of Operations West/East Coast Travel: Limited
About the role:
The Warehouse Hourly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring safe & efficient operations during their assigned shift. This role involves supervising staff, managing shift performance, ensuring compliance to SOPs and safety while maintaining security protocols including the locking and unlocking of the facility. Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and guidance to RSC staff, ensuring adherence to quality work instructions (QWIs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), safe work instructions (SWIs), as well as quality and productivity standards
Oversees and supervises the daily operation of the RSC in partnership with Department Managers with responsibility for inventory control, receiving, stocking, replenishments, order filling, shipping, small parcel processing, and other support functions
Work in path and assist the operation to improve Thru-put
Ensure successful shift performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback on individual team member performance
Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, and in accordance, with standard operating procedures
Provide various coverage for Department Managers
Coaching team members to work safely at all times
Assist in keeping work areas clean and organized
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; and complying with legal regulations
Must be at work on a regular and predictable basis or as scheduled and follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Escalate any safety, security, and employee concerns while acting as the representative of Do It Best
Open, monitor, and secure the building
Shifts could be required on holidays/weekends/evenings to perform the above responsibilities
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or equivalent experience

Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
Superior organizational skills, customer service, and project management skills

Knowledge of Google Suite, supply chain software (inventory/warehouse management and distribution software) and planning & allocations software
