Duties:

• Plan and establish sequence of operations to most efficiently produce and assemble mechanical parts for sheet metal manufacturing
• Review engineering specifications, client orders and related information and analyze the efficiency of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities
• Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action and control
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and software
• Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize costs
• Manage a team of a mechanical engineer or manufacturing engineer

Education and Skills Requirements: Must have a masters degree in mechanical engineering and be proficient in 3D CAD system, FEA and lean manufacturing process.
