What you\'ll be doing: Manage and provide leadership to the underwriting support staff to effectively develop premiums, prepare quotes, and issue and maintain policies for Broker/Specialty Markets. Assist personnel at all levels to properly rate, quote, issue, and maintain policies in compliance with underwriting policy and regulatory requirements. Provide policy information/special reports to executive management, others within Church Mutual, brokers, and insureds. Establish priorities and adjust workloads to meet completion dates. Build a strong working relationship with brokers and others outside and inside the company to attain corporate goals. Recruit, hire, train, appraise, and conduct salary administration for direct reporting staff members. Coach assigned personnel in setting and attaining professional development goals. Annually assist in the development of broker/specialty markets underwriting goals and objectives and the supporting budget.
