Nightforce Optics is looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our creative and resourceful Sales team. The Regional Account Manager is accountable for the regional business development and account management of commercial and national dealer and distributor accounts including prospecting, negotiating, closing contracts, and program implementation. The Regional Account Manager will build, grow, and maintain professional and profitable relationships with dealers, distributors, and key accounts within their designated region. This position is responsible for mentoring and guiding Account Managers.

Position Location:This position is located in Meridian, ID

What you will be doing:

  • Travel will be required up to 40%
  • Leads and mentors Account Managers within the designated region to help bolster the regional target accounts
  • Maximizes account opportunities by facilitating regional and local relationships
  • Assists with identifying key imperatives, quarterly and yearly roadmaps that includes account priorities based on NFO\'s strategic initiatives and forecasts developed by the National Sales Manager
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives as defined by company management
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains professional business relationships with current customers, dealers, and distributors as well as prospective clients in the assigned area to generate new business for Nightforce Optics products
  • Develop leads through networking, referrals, and communication with other departments within Nightforce
  • Investigates and resolves any complaints or concerns
  • Has a thorough understanding of Nightforce products in order to accurately describe benefits, functions, and technical components
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with product applications, training, technical aspects, market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Supplies manager with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new or updated product and services
  • Provide technical advice to dealers, existing and potential customers
  • Manages the accounts to meet and exceed NFO sales and business plans
  • Understands and promotes the stocking dealer programs and pricing market plan
  • Communicates with other NFO departments to ensure on time and complete order deliveries
  • Assists the Finance department with potential collection on accounts if needed
  • Attends trade shows and other industry events to provide maximum exposure of products and opportunities to build professional relationships
  • Assists the National Sales Manager with the development of growth strategies including product development, pricing strategies, and new concepts for marketing and promotion
  • Educates customers and provide expert technical advice on the product line and the resp ctive features and benefits
  • Participates in product development workshops
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

What we need from you:

A Bachelor Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience

Five years in a sales role within a similar product range or industry

Must be able to travel up to 40% for business needs

Experience working with sales metrics and utilizing CRM tools in order to effectively monitor sales activities

Must have a valid driver\'s license

Ability to maintain confidentiality and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to multi-task and remain organized while adapting to the needs of the organization

Proficiency with GoogleSuite or Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Proven understanding and achievements of effective selling skills, principles and methods

Proficient ability to communicate mechanical and technical aspects of products and designs
