Description

Scentsy is looking for aMarketing Technology Product Managerto play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s marketing capabilities by identifying, implementing, and managing modern marketing technology tools. The Product Manager’s primary objectives are to enable automation, drive operational excellence, and improve marketing efficiency across various channels. In addition, the Product manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, Sales, and Analytics to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals and enhance the Consultant and customer experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify, assess, and implement marketing technology tools that align with Scentsy’s goals for automation, Consultant and customer engagement, and operational efficiency

  • Clearly prioritize which technology efforts need to be accomplished first while ensuring key stakeholders understand the purpose of the prioritization

  • Develop strong, accurate, and persuasive business cases to demonstrate the efficiencies, cost savings, and revenue opportunities associated with implementing modern technology software

  • Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to integrate tools and ensure seamless functionality within the broader tech ecosystem

  • Work closely with the marketing channel leaders (e.g. eCommerce, email, social, paid ads, etc.) to manage the technology stack, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and other automation software

  • Lead efforts to optimize workflows, improve data quality, and enhance campaign performance using technology

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in marketing technology and provide recommendations on new tools and approaches

  • Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, implementation timelines, and performance evaluations

  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing technologies and make data-driven recommendations for improvements

  • Facilitate training and support for marketing teams to ensure adoption and maximize the use and value of technology tools

  • Provide ongoing updates on the value new technologies are delivering to key stakeholders

  • Assess market competition by comparing the Company's sales and marketing technology solutions to others in the industry

  • Gain buy-in from key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and retain buy-in through communication, organization, transparency, and a collaborative partnership approach

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, User Experience (UX), Project Management, System Analyst, Software Development, and Quality Assurance teams to define milestones and ensure on-time and in-scope delivery

  • Drive overall development of vision and strategy for assigned systems, develop a product roadmap, create business cases for new programs and products, and gain team buy-in on priorities based on analysis of user needs, trends, competitive landscape, and business models

  • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) according to defined use cases and requirements

  • Develop program and product metrics and regularly report on progress, product impact, and Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Contribute to launch planning and implementation, including beta and acceptance testing, pilot programs and user training, and creation of support materials, user documentation, and launch presentations

  • Lead build versus buy assessments, integration planning, and implementation of tools

  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or related field

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in product management or marketing technology, with a track record of implementing and managing successful marketing tools

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data integration

  • Passion for staying ahead of marketing technology trends and driving innovation

  • Experience leading products or programs that involve stakeholders and span multiple teams and specialties

  • Experience leading technical products and programs that include software development and business process improvement or redesign

  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies

  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn the intricacies of the Direct Selling industry and how to adapt standard sales marketing, e-commerce technologies, and platforms to the industry

  • Experience with key product management functions, including market research, product and user research, competitive analysis, product planning, business case development

  • Ability to develop basic interaction flows and detailed technical functional requirements

  • Ability to define and develop relevant products to meet user requirements based on defined metrics

  • Excellent relationship management and influence skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify root causes, ask probing questions, and define needed outcomes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to confidently speak with a variety of stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to create appropriate documents and reports for intended audiences

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, team environment

  • Understanding of the Direct Sales business model

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to provide influence to drive programs, strategic initiatives, and change

  • Working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including Atlassian Jira, analytics applications, Microsoft Office applications, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Microsoft SharePoint,
