Accounts Receivable Specialist

Direct-Hire / Permanent position

Fully onsite position, 5 days per week in office, 8a - 5p schedule

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable professional to join our clients accounting team! In this role, your primary focus will be to handle customer credit applications, maintain customer records, and resolve any customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Performs daily billing functions and generates invoices for mailing.

· Researches discrepancies to accurately process and write up credits, debits, and adjustments to customer's accounts as necessary.

· Maintains records, files and backup documentation related to accounts receivable, including customer project paperwork.

· Maintains good customer relations.

· Maintains accurate customer information along with sales tax exempt certificates, projects, and quotes according to company procedures.

· Researches and responds to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner.

· Takes credit card payments over the phone as needed

· Enters all cash receipt batches into the billing software

· Scans all daily delivery tickets and cash receipt batches into our online database

Our client covers all health insurance costs for employee and family, offers a 401k profit sharing bonus of up to 10%, and paid time off package for all employees. Starting pay is up to $25hr depending on experience.
