Job Title: Skidder Operator - Solar Skilled Laborer's - Electricians

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Skidder Operator, electricians and solar skilled laborers to join our team, focusing on community generation projects.

• This role involves loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, and assisting with various labor tasks at the worksite.

• Candidates must be able to operate a skid steer/All Terrain Forklift/Telehandler without training and be prepared to assist in non-operational tasks as needed.

• This contract-to-hire position offers a stable pipeline of long-term projects.

• A typical day includes operating equipment, assisting in pile driving, and performing various duties related to the construction of a renewable energy production plant.

Hard Skills

• Experience operating a skid steer/All Terrain Forklift

• Experience in solar construction and solar post installation

• Knowledge of basic equipment inspection and preventive maintenance

• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical support tasks

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail

• Ability to work independently

• Adherence to safety guidelines

• Ability to assess work locations for crew safety

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This position operates Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Overtime work and Saturday shifts are mandatory. The role is based in Mercersburg, PA. Candidates will be part of a team reporting to a Journeyman Electrician and further up to an Electrical Superintendent. Please note that personal protective equipment is not provided.
