Position Summary: The Project Manager II is responsible for managing and executing large cross-functional projects within the Global Service business unit. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple projects that can include the following: Lean initiatives, operational efficiencies, new service/process launches, and organizational changes. ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Responsible for managing complex projects with multi-functional teams; responsibilities include the planning of all project activities according to defined project management and stage gate processes, coordination of project team activities to meet project deliverables, FDA/ISO requirements, and the management of the overall project schedule, resource requirements, risk assessment, business case, and budget, including progress reporting and reviews with senior management. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Leads and drives the planning and implementation of multiple projects, varying in size and scope, and recommends revisions in project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. 2. Facilitates the definition of projects' scope, goals, and deliverables. 3. Assembles Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and leads them through the development process for projects of varying complexity, including new medical devices and services. 4. Identifies and defines resource requirements needed and recommends assignments for individual CFT member responsibilities. 5. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes. 6. Works with supervisor in managing project resource allocations across all projects. 7. Works with various department heads to assure alignment of CFT member objectives and work schedules to assure project deliverables are achieved. 8. Effectively applies Stage/Gate methodology and enforce project standards to drive project completion. 9. Leads and manages the creation of Stage/Gate deliverables and Gate presentations with the project team and senior management. 10. Ensures project documents and Stage/ Gate deliverables are complete, up-to-date, and stored appropriately. 11. Assists in identifying project risks and critical issues and developing applicable mitigation plans to minimize exposure on projects. 12. Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. 13. Prepares and presents reports defining project progress, problems, and management solutions, as needed. 14. Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. 15. Complies with and helps to enforce standard Project Management policies and procedures. 16. Work with CFTs to develop project schedules and track project deliverables to completion 17. Leads and coordinates market release inventory requirements with Supply Chain and Materials/Logistics departments. 18. Work with Quality, Regulatory, and Document Control to ensure all project documentation requirements are fulfilled for release. 19. Provides input and leads design/documentation review meetings. 20. Develop and manage budgets for the project including resource loading, external expenses, and capital requirements. 21.
