Job Description

• Lead problem solving efforts and continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and increase equipment effectiveness

• Identify, propose, justify and manage the implementation of capital improvement projects

• Participate and/or lead problem solving teams and initiatives

• Support the creation and completion of Engineering Change Requests

• Lead the development of or assist with the creation of detailed work instructions that outline production techniques and standard work for manufacturing processes

• Assist New Product Introduction team with the launch of new products and support design transfer to production.

• Provide on-going manufacturing support

• Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of major/minor projects

Must Have

Bachelor's in Engineering (i f no degree, 8+ years of industry experience)

1 to 3 years experience in manufacturing/process engineering

Experience with fabrication (welding, grinding, machining), mechanical or electronic assembly.

Knowledge of CAD, CREO or Solidworks

Nice to Have-

Electrical experience

Understanding of processes

Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing facility.
