Office Assistant

PeopleReady of Menomonie, WI is now hiring Office Assistants! As an experienced Office Assistant, you will oversee day-to-day administrative operations at a busy office. This position reports to the general manager while providing a wide range of support to the senior leadership administrative support and works very closely with the property management team.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 / hour + DOE

What you'll be doing as an Office Assistant:

  • Manage reception desk, greet and direct visitors, phone call management, and provide information about the organization to interested parties 

  • Provide hands-on customer service to employees, patrons, and vendors to ensure positive and supportive relationships

  • Directly or indirectly responsible for the office space and surrounding facility. Works with the building's director of facilities to ensure that the office space is meeting all aspects of the Company's needs, including safety, efficiency, and aesthetics.

  • Arranging meetings, manage meeting room scheduling, and other calendars

  • Manage local expenses effectively in accordance with the office budget

  • Draft correspondence to internal departments and external organizations,

  • Process confidential reports and documents, and tracking deadlines.

  • Attends weekly management meetings, maintaining meeting minutes, and following up on departmental tasks and deadlines.

  • Order supplies and processes requests for payment of office invoice

  • File documents according to retention schedules

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Ideal applicant would have knowledge of graphic marketing, bookkeeping, manufacturing, project coordination, computers, office equipment and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, is highly organized, good at multitasking and ability to get along well with others.

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • 1-2 Years Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) and aptitude for learning internal programs and software

  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license

  • Good people and communication skills
