Description

We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Remotely. This role involves providing technical assistance to computer system users and resolving computer system issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling queries, troubleshooting problems, and providing guidance to users both in-person and remotely. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to user inquiries about software or hardware operation, aiming to resolve problems of lower complexity.

• Install software or perform hardware testing remotely where necessary.

• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems encountered, remedial actions taken, and installation activities.

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems.

• Provide technical assistance and support to users, enhancing customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Work independently and manage one’s time effectively.

• Utilize knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.

• Use computer software such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites and CRM to execute job tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of workstation

Requirements • Demonstrable skills in customer service, with an emphasis on providing solutions to client queries and concerns.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and concise information exchange with customers and team members.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining accurate documentation related to customer interactions, incidents, and resolutions.

• Ability to conduct training sessions for team members and customers on system usage and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of operations and procedures related to help desk and technical support functions.

• Proven experience in technical support, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.

• Ability to review and analyze system issues to provide appropriate solutions.

• Experience in creating and delivering presentations on technical topics to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with workstation support and ability to resolve issues related to hardware and software.

• Proficiency in using the internet and other online tools for research and problem-solving.

• Strong phone presence, with the ability to handle customer calls professionally and efficiently.

• Understanding of benefit functions and ability to explain them to customers.

• Experience in deskside support, providing in-person assistance to customers as needed.

• Knowledge of consumer electronics and ability to troubleshoot related issues.

• Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner, with a focus on meeting customer service standards.

• Proficiency in using CRM systems for customer interaction tracking and management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to resolve issues related to system configuration management.

• Familiarity with various operating systems and ability to troubleshoot related issues.
