JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2nd Shift Setup Technician 1, Plastics - 3809 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Summary Performs work associated with both set-up and basic plastic processing functions. Job Duties * Perform all required setup activities to ensure the molding process meets the requirements * Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment/tooling and perform adjustments * Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation * Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation when applicable * Clean and maintain hoppers, loaders, grinders and other secondary equipment * Operate powered industrial equipment if needed * Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately * Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) * Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures * Perform other duties as assigned EOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Various agencies of the United States Government require employers to maintain information on applicants pertaining to factors such as race, sex, and type of position for which an individual applies.
