This position is responsible for network and telecommunications technology such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, network access controls, call managers, and unified-communications. This position is responsible for the research, development, implementation, and support of core network infrastructure and tools to allow communications between all IT assets connected to the company\'s network. This position supports and administers Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) hardware for IT systems of all business areas. Position also provides on call support of the infrastructure environment that supports critical systems 24x7x365. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of five years of network infrastructure experience. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of computer/network principles at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant technology field or acquired through a combination of education and experience is required. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: 1.Advanced experience with WAN and LAN technologies such as; Port Channeling, Virtual Port Channel (VPC), VLAN, Network Address Translation (NAT), Access Control List (ACL), QoS, VoIP, and Virtual Private Network (VPN).
