Our client, a leading private equity firm based in California, is at the forefront of high-growth technology and related industries. They offer specialized capital and expertise to propel companies onto the global stage and are an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions of dollars.

You’ll play a crucial role to the Finance Team and report to the Director and CFO. This role is a HYBRID role that offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax compliance for private equity funds and management company

• Ensure timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, FATCA/CRS, 1099s, sales tax, and other filings with external providers.

• Oversee investor tax certificates and coordinate with banks.

• Handle quarterly estimated tax payments and tax notices.

• Assist with tax communications and review allocations, adjustments, and distributions.

• Monitor tax provisions in fund agreements.

• Support tax planning for management companies.

• Work with deal teams on global structuring and holding company setups.

• Implement tax policies and improve processes through automation.

  Requirements

• Degree in Accounting preferred

• CPA is a plus

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with extensive experience in private equity/venture capital.

• Extensive investment management, Subchapter K partnership and international tax compliance knowledge .

• Experience with international investment tax is a plus

• Proven leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
