The Marketing Science Solutions & Partner Development team is responsible for understanding how to measure the value of marketers’ investments on Facebook. In service of this goal, the team conducts research on the Facebook advertising platform, designs methodologies and data systems to improve the ability to measure value on and off Facebook, and forms external partnerships with measurement companies, industry bodies, and other marketing platforms.
We are looking for a Measurement Partnership Lead to direct these efforts and drive measurement strategy. This person will manage current partnerships and develop new partnerships when appropriate. He or she will work cross-functionally with other Facebook teams and the partner organizations to understand measurement needs, build new measurement products, and enhance current products. The Partnership Lead can expect to assess proposed capabilities, determine prioritization, draft legal agreements, test and validate the measurement products, and take the products to market. This person will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Product, Product Marketing, Quantitative Research, Engineering, Data & Audience Partnerships, Marketing Sciences, Legal, and Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and understanding in analytics, meaningful experience with partnerships or business development, and a deep understanding of how to bring new ideas to market. This position is full-time and located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.
Understand measurement markets, identify key partners, and build strategic partnerships that bring new ideas in media analytics and measurement to market
Serve as the primary point of contact for measurement partners
Develop a deep understanding of Facebook’s advertising measurement strategy
Work collaboratively with internal Facebook teams on issues related to measurement partnerships
Influence partners, industry bodies, and the ads/measurement ecosystem
5+ years of working experience, including 2+ years of experience in partnership roles
Knowledge of advertising measurement
Experience of thinking strategically and bringing ideas to market
Experience in clarifying and summarizing issues
A bachelor’s degree
- A master’s degree in business or a quantitative field
