The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

The Growth & Mid-Market Technology Banking team at MUFG works with the world’s most dynamic companies, providing corporate and investment banking services to fuel their growth. The Analyst position is an opportunity to be a part of a new, fast-growing team within a truly global financial institution. Job Summary:

The Analyst is responsible for supporting the Growth & Middle Market Technology Banking team achieve their client growth and profitability goals by leveraging the daily activities outlined below:

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Relationship Management team’s sales pitch materials, including external pitchbooks, customized slides (Debt Capacity and Cost Analysis, Terms, Comps) and public information books. Includes ensuring all pitch decks and other sales materials are kept up to date with current, relevant content.

  • Support senior leadership on strategic projects and broader team initiatives.

  • Prepare and present ad hoc decks for management as requested – market analysis for AMEA/Europe and APAC.

  • Draft memos summarizing sales opportunities, executive briefing memos and credit screening memos (does not include full underwriting memos)

  • Build market intelligence by synthesizing industry research, market trends and competitive dynamics into sector insights (e.g. Debt Comps, M&A Comps, Capital Raises, Sector Reports).

  • Utilize internal and external resources to identify and vet potential prospects research events and attendees to strategize for maximum outcome, conduct personal networking to grow the MUFG brand and source COI's / prospecting opportunities.

  • Marketing – create LinkedIn posts highlighting closed transactions and market activity.

  • Maintain the team’s sales and pipeline reports for recurring meetings.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of commercial/corporate banking experience.

  • Internship or training program with a money center bank/regional formal credit training or equivalent.

  • Accounting and finance classes/experience.

  • Interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.

  • Organization and time management skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related major, including Accounting, Economics.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $100,000k - $110,000K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
