Adecco US, Inc. Authorization Coordinator-Remote in Menlo Park, California

Adecco Med and Sci is currently assisting a local Children’s Hospital in their search to fill an Authorization Coordinator, this is a remote position but must live in the California Bay Area

Some of the responsibilities we are looking for in an Authorization Coordinator will be reviewing and answering authorization correspondence. Handling communications consisting of telephone and email correspondence. Directing communication between Authorization colleagues and customers, entering updated documentation of communication that has been completed. Builds a foundational understanding of the different health insurance and authorization processing and the related process and procedures. Looking for someone who has a familiarity with medical registration, insurance, and authorization terminology. Prefer someone with EPIC experience and knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers Comp, Managed Care (HMO, PPO, POS, etc.), Children's Health Programs (CCS, GHPP, Healthy Families, etc.).

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: 1 -2 years of experience in a related work area.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
