This position will follow our hybrid work model. We expect the selected candidate to be in the office 2-3 days a week at one of our corporate office locations in Saint Petersburg, FL, Southfield, MI, or Memphis, TN.

Job Summary:

You will work under minimal supervision, with a high level of autonomy; specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education, industry experience, and/or specialized training are used to provide oversight and support regarding Raymond James statements and trade confirmations. Your responsibilities include ensuring that statements/confirms are produced and delivered in an accurate manner that meets firm and regulatory requirements with consideration of potential risk exposure to the firm. You will partner with multiple product areas, business units, and IT to research issues or problems, recommend a course of action, and coordinate complex enhancements. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert with tactical and functional responsibilities on project teams and lead multiple User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts to ensure accuracy regarding changes. Minimal guidance is provided to perform varied work that is time-sensitive and difficult in character, requiring evaluation, originality, and ingenuity to make complex decisions with potential risk to the firm. You will resolve or recommend solutions to complex problems. You will have regular contact with internal customers required to identify, research, and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures integrity of statement/confirm documents through oversight of document content, production, and printing processes.

  • Collaborates with trading groups, Raymond James subsidiary groups, internal operations departments, legal, compliance, IT, and marketing to research, document, and facilitate complex data changes to Raymond James statements and trade confirmations that support firm and regulatory guidelines.

  • Determines and defines complex business requirements with stakeholders to recommend data and format changes that enhance the client experience, support firm initiatives, and reduce firm risk. Coordinates input and efforts across multiple departments, analyzing and researching data and facilitating necessary communication.

  • Leads functional testing for statement and confirm applications, including gathering test data, writing test cases, testing against functional requirements, managing remediation, and retesting defects.

  • Partners with auditing and managers across multiple departments to identify opportunities to decrease the risk associated with managing the statement and confirm the process. Follows through and manages recommendations that support risk management. Acts as a liaison with internal and external auditors regarding requests and inquiries.

  • Manages the production process for statements/confirms, including coordinating pre-production quality assurance reviews, overseeing returned mail procedures and business continuity (BCP) efforts, following internal processes for documenting requests or issues, and facilitating manual tasks associated with regulatory oversight within the statement and confirm process.

  • Develops audio-visual materials and facilitates presentations to business stakeholders and branch personnel.

  • Provides administrative and analysis support to assigned project management teams and serves as liaison with technical and vendor support.

  • Performs some data analysis to support and implement business processes and decisions.

  • Performs complex research across multiple departments to identify and address problems or complaints.

  • Influences product and operational support areas to facilitate change and incorporate processes that support the production of accurate and effective statements/confirms.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.

  • Basic principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.

  • Financial markets and products.

  • Intermediate-level business case analysis.

  • Formal data testing concepts.

Skill in:

  • Defining and clarifying project requirements and parameters related to complex business concepts.

  • Creating and implementing data testing related to data integrity.

  • Maintaining business process documentation.

  • Developing audio-visual materials and presentations.

  • Developing effective communications to help educate/inform regarding product specifications or changes.

  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in a related discipline and a minimum of two (2) years of extensive data analysis experience in the financial industry.

  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience approved by Human Resources.
